JOE RAETZER, PRINCIPAL

Joe first became a licensed real estate agent in 1999 during college at The University of Texas – San Antonio. During his time working on real estate securities, Joe worked firsthand conducting due diligence on large real estate portfolios to effectuate the securitization of over $60 billion dollars of real estate.

Joe was subsequently recruited to Clifford Chance to work in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) in midtown Manhattan where he focused on the acquisition and disposition of asset portfolios as well as holding companies. He worked directly with large institutional and small investors in various capacities, including asset due diligence, negotiation of deal terms and contract drafting. His goal was always to acquire or dispose of assets on terms in the best interest of his clients.

Following the 2008 financial crisis, Joe left the law to focus on starting and operating his own business with his wife Andrea.

Andrea helped oversee Gucci’s entire North America portfolio (approximately 120 locations) of real estate. She did such a fantastic job negotiating with contractors that she was selected for the team working to build out the new Gucci HQ at Trump Tower.
